This year's senior play saw Peter Pan in Morris Hall. The show was a delightful live-drama experience of a timeless story brought to life by the young men and women of Churchie and Somerville House. Following many months of rehearsal, staff and students collaborated wonderfully to deliver a high quality performance with some of the most sophisticated special effects ever attempted here at Churchie.
This very successful production of Peter Pan is another expression of the vitality of the arts at Churchie.
Digital imagery, puppetry, elaborate sets and, of course, the ‘flying’ main characters of Pan (Lachlan Haller), Wendy (Imogen Clark), John (Thomas Macpherson) and Michael (Christopher Leotta), presented a more technically challenging production than previous plays. Congratulations also to James Tait who played Captain Hook, Samuel Marguglio (George Darling), Matthew Langfield (Nana) and Jack Gadsby (Mr Smee).
