Congratulations to Audrich Allen (Year 8) who will perform with the Commonwealth Games Orchestra as a first violin in the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony.

Please join us to watch this amazing national event. There’ll be spectacularly uplifting and surprising moments of theatre, breathtaking visual effects, dancing and music.

Channel 7 and some radio stations will broadcast the event live. There is also an app called 7CommGames that is now available for download from both Google Play and the Apple Store to watch on phones or tablets.

Audrich was also recently accepted as a member of the Australian Youth Orchestra, and has been awarded an AMEB A Mus A with High Distinction for violin. This now entitles Audrich to teach. Generally, this level of achievement is undertaken in first year at tertiary level.

Early last year Audrich also won first place in the strings section as well as the whole championship at the Redlands Eisteddford. To be so awarded at such a young age is an extraordinary achievement. Congratulations, Audrich.
